All visits are scheduled by appointment with two different locations to serve you. To accommodate your schedule, the appointments are designed to allow you to spend the least amount of time in the office while getting the greatest benefit towards your care. We highly recommend that each of our clients call their insurance company to see what chiropractic benefits are available to them prior to coming in for their initial examination. In the event there are services that are not covered by the client’s insurance, they are expected to pay at the time of service. April Miller, D.C. has implemented a program for under-insured and non-insured clients to enable clients to have care at affordable prices.

ONLINE INTAKE FORMS »

Your First Visit

In your first visit, you will have a detailed medical history and an examination after completing the necessary intake forms if you haven’t completed them online prior to your visit. Following the examination, the client will be informed if additional imaging will be required. Next, the client will schedule for the next business day to get a report of findings at the front desk. In the event further care is needed following the initial examination, palliative care will be given to help manage their pain.

Your Second Visit

On your second visit, April Miller, D.C. will discuss your examination findings. She will explain how chiropractic treatment works in restoring function; what her treatment plan is for your specific condition; and answer any questions you may have before we begin therapy. If you are a good candidate for chiropractic care, you will receive your first treatment session that day. The treatment would include targeted muscle work as well as a gentle, chiropractic adjustment. Depending on the client’s specific condition, other therapies, stretching, and exercises may be given at this visit.

ONGOING SUPPORT

Ideally, April Miller, D.C. will re-examine your condition every 4-6 weeks to monitor your progress. Then she will determine if additional treatments are warranted; if you will graduate up to the next level of care; or if a referral to another health professional is required.

April J. Miller, D.C. will personally assist the patient throughout their entire experience in our practice.
